Focus: Control of Learned Models

Patrick Washington is currently pursuing a PhD in Aeronautics and Astronautics at Stanford University. He received a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Maryland in 2017. While at UMD, he worked on projects involving bioinspired soft robotics in the CDCL and CORE labs. His current research interests include learning models for dynamical systems and controlling systems based on learned models. Patrick is funded by the 2017 National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate (NDSEG) fellowship.
