Jiankai Sun is a Ph.D. candidate at Stanford University, advised by Mac Schwager as part of the Multi-robot Systems Lab (MSL). His research is supported by the Stanford Interdisciplinary Graduate Fellowship (SIGF).
His research focuses on robotics, embodied intelligence, computer vision, and decision-making, aiming to develop intelligent systems that understand their environment, interact naturally with humans, and continually improve through learning and adaptation. By integrating perception, machine learning, and control algorithms, his primary goal is to enhance the autonomy of general-purpose robots, ultimately improving the quality of people’s lives.
