Javier Yu is a Ph.D. candidate at Stanford University in the Aeronautics and Astronautics department. He received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University at Buffalo in 2018, and an M.S. in Aeronatics and Astronautics from Stanford in 2020.
Javier is currently a member of Stanford’s Multi-robot Systems Lab developing distributed algorithms for multi-robot systems with a focus on distributed learning and estimation. Javier is funded through a Graduate Research Fellowship awarded by the National Science Foundation in 2018.
When not doing research, Javier likes rock climbing, backpacking, and ceramics.
