Bio:
Aaron Feldman is a graduate student in the department of Aeronautics and Astronautics at Stanford University and is a current member of the Multi-robot Systems Lab. He has received a NSF Graduate Research Fellowship and a Stanford Graduate Fellowship. In 2022, he graduated from Caltech with a B.S. in Information and Data Sciences. His previous research included distributed pose estimation and uncertainty quantification for glacier ice loss modeling. He also participated in internships at HRL Laboratories and Argo AI.
His current research uses statistical methods to guarantee safety and improve performance for robotic systems operating in uncertain environments. Applications of interest include manipulation and autonomous vehicles. He is interested in connecting this theory with human feedback for learned notions of safety and for continual policy improvement.
