Focus: Learned Environment Representations
Tim a PhD candidate in the Aeronautics and Astronautics department at Stanford University. He received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering in 2020 from Caltech. He is supported by a NASA Space Technology Graduate Research Opportunities Fellowship and Stanford School of Engineering Graduate Fellowship. He has also interned at Microsoft Research (Project AirSim).
Tim’s research interests revolve around vision-based learned environment representations, their analytical properties, and their application to downstream tasks like planning and pose estimation.
