Position: PhD Candidate
Focus: Learned Environment Representations
Tim a PhD candidate in the Aeronautics and Astronautics department at Stanford University. He received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering in 2020 from Caltech. He is supported by a NASA Space Technology Graduate Research Opportunities Fellowship and Stanford School of Engineering Graduate Fellowship. He has also interned at Microsoft Research and NASA Ames Research Center.
Tim’s research interests revolve around vision-based learned environment representations and their application to downstream tasks like collision avoidance, pose estimation, active view planning, and manipulation.
