Eric Cristofalo is pursuing a Ph.D. at Stanford University in the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics. He received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University in 2013 and a M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Boston University in 2016. Eric is currently working with Professor Mac Schwager in the Multi-robot Systems Lab on vision-based control, active perception, and 3D vision problems in robotics. Eric is funded by the 2015 National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate (NDSEG) fellowship to develop a control method that enables an autonomous multi-robot system comprised of aerial vehicles with simple on-board cameras to reconstruct the 3D structure of the environment in real-time.
